Job Title: Head, Wealth Management

Role Summary
- The Head of Wealth Management is responsible for driving the strategic growth, client acquisition, and portfolio performance of the wealth management division.
- The role oversees high-net-worth (HNW), ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW), and institutional client relationships, ensuring sustainable Assets Under Management (AUM) growth, superior client experience, and strong revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Develop and execute the overall wealth management strategy aligned with company goals.
- Drive aggressive AUM growth through client acquisition, retention, and cross-selling.
- Identify new market opportunities, products, and client segments.
- Lead expansion into corporate, diaspora, and institutional wealth segments.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with HNW and UHNW clients.
- Originate large-ticket investments and structured deals.
- Oversee client onboarding, portfolio advisory, and lifecycle management.
- Act as a key relationship owner for top-tier clients.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Wealth Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Set performance targets (AUM, revenue, client acquisition).
- Drive a high-performance, sales-driven culture.
- Recruit, train, and retain top wealth management talent.
Investment & Product Oversight:
- Collaborate with investment teams to design attractive wealth products (fixed income, real estate-backed, structured notes).
- Ensure portfolios align with client risk profiles and market conditions.
- Drive distribution of proprietary products (e.g., fixed income notes, real estate investments).
Revenue & Profitability:
- Own revenue targets for the wealth division.
- Optimize fee structures, commissions, and margins.
- Ensure cost-to-income efficiency within the division.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC guidelines).
- Maintain strong governance, risk controls, and ethical standards.
- Oversee KYC, AML, and client suitability processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams (investment, marketing, operations).
- Engage external partners such as banks, trustees, and institutional investors.
- Represent the firm at high-level meetings, events, and client forums.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- 8–15 years experience in wealth management, asset management, or private banking.
- Proven track record of managing large AUM portfolios and HNW clients.
- Strong network of affluent clients and institutional investors.
