Job Title: Junior Finance Officer

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, experience with accounting software (especially QuickBooks), and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries
• Record daily transactions, including income and expenses
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance-related role
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Preference may be given to female candidates.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
