We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control Engineer - MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Locations: Lagos and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Structure: Fully On-Site (Monday – Saturday)

Job Summary

  • The Quality Control Engineer – MEP will be responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in strict compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • This role is strictly focused on MEP systems and requires strong hands-on site experience in installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections on HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection installations
  • Ensure all works comply with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Review and verify material submittals against technical requirements
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow through on corrective actions
  • Monitor testing and commissioning processes for all MEP systems
  • Maintain accurate quality control documentation and inspection records
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers on quality-related issues
  • Support project handover processes, including snag list identification and resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in MEP construction projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications
  • Solid understanding of inspection processes and quality documentation procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

N350,000 – N450,000 monthly.
