We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – HVAC

Locations: Lagos and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Structure: Fully On-Site (Monday – Saturday)

Job Summary

  • The Mechanical Engineer – HVAC will be responsible for the design, documentation, coordination, and execution of mechanical and HVAC systems across projects.
  • The role requires a balance of technical design expertise and hands-on site supervision, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, in line with specifications, and within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC and mechanical system layouts using AutoCAD
  • Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical works
  • Oversee installation of HVAC systems on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs and specifications
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and other engineering disciplines
  • Supervise technicians and junior engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in HVAC and mechanical engineering projects
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for HVAC design and drafting
  • Solid experience in BOQ preparation and technical documentation
  • Hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and site supervision
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, standards, and specifications
  • Ability to manage both office-based design work and on-site execution

Salary
N350,000 – N450,000 monthly.
