Job Title: IPPIS Relationship Officer / Field Marketer (Salary Account & Loan Specialist)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly driven, resilient, and target-oriented IPPIS Relationship Officer to join our team in Lagos.
- The role focuses on aggressive acquisition of new IPPIS salary accounts for federal and state government workers, facilitation of IPPIS enrollment, and high-volume disbursement of salary-backed loans.
- This is a strictly target-driven, full-time on-site role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working daily in the field (ministries, schools, parastatals, and MDAs), meeting ambitious acquisition and disbursement targets, and maintaining excellent portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities
KR 1. IPPIS Salary Account Acquisition & Enrollment:
- Prospect and onboard large numbers of federal/state civil servants, teachers, and other IPPIS-eligible workers into Awacash salary accounts.
- Assist with IPPIS registration, data capture, BVN linkage, and verification processes.
- Drive smooth migration of salary payments to Awacash MFB.
KR 2. High-Volume IPPIS Loan Marketing & Disbursement:
- Aggressively market and process salary-backed IPPIS loans.
- Collect required documentation (ID card, recent pay slip, employment letter, etc.).
- Follow up on loan applications from submission through approval to disbursement.
KR 3. Customer Relationship & Retention:
- Build strong relationships with IPPIS customers for repeat business and referrals.
- Provide excellent service and cross-sell other Awacash products where appropriate.
KR 4. Field Mobilization & Compliance:
- Conduct daily field visits to government offices, schools, and MDAs across Lagos.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and full compliance with KYC and bank policies.
KR 5. Target Achievement & Portfolio Management:
- Consistently meet or exceed aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Maintain high portfolio quality with Portfolio at Risk (PAR) below 5%.
- Submit daily activity reports and performance trackers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – Strictly Target Driven
Loan Disbursement Target (Primary KPI):
Supporting KPIs:
- Open and verify a high volume of new IPPIS salary accounts monthly (volume required to support the loan target).
- Process and convert a large number of loan applications weekly.
- Achieve a high conversion rate from account opening to loan uptake.
- Maintain Portfolio at Risk (PAR) below 5% at all times.
- Excellent documentation accuracy and low rejection rate on submissions.
Performance Bonus / Incentive Structure:
Bonuses and commissions are heavily tied to:
- Total value of loans disbursed
- Number of verified salary accounts opened
- Portfolio quality (PAR < 5%)
- Overall target achievement
Requirements
- Minimum an OND / HND or Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- 3–5 years of experience in banking, microfinance, field sales, or loan marketing (prior IPPIS or salary loan experience is a strong advantage).
- Must reside in Ketu, Ikosi, or Ikorodu axis – this is very important for daily field coverage and punctuality.
- Proven ability to meet aggressive sales and disbursement targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-pressure environment.
- Smart appearance, high energy, and strong customer acquisition drive.
- Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to use digital tools for account opening and loan processing.
- Valid means of identification.

- Building a large, high-quality portfolio of IPPIS salary accounts with strong loan uptake.
- Becoming a top performer in the team within the first 3 months.
Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
