Job Summary
- The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports (daily, monthly, and annually).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Prepare financial statements including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to budget.
- Handle tax computations, filings, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Support audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Maintain proper filing systems for all financial documents.
- Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments where applicable.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
