Job Summary

• The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports (daily, monthly, and annually).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Prepare financial statements including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to budget.
• Handle tax computations, filings, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Maintain proper filing systems for all financial documents.
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments where applicable.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
