We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Service Executive

Location: Ojodu-Berger, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Customer Service Executive is responsible for delivering a seamless, responsive, and premium client experience across event services and décor rentals. The role manages client inquiries, coordinates bookings, and ensures smooth handling of rental items from reservation to return, while maintaining the brand’s high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Inquiry Management:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all inquiries (calls, WhatsApp, email, Instagram, etc.)
  • Respond promptly with clear, professional, and well-structured information
  • Provide detailed guidance on event services and available décor rental items
  • Maintain a polished, luxury brand tone in all interactions.

Décor Rental Coordination:

  • Attend to all decor inquiries, share brochure as required
  • Attend to rental inquiries, including item availability, pricing, and packages
  • Check and confirm availability with the inventory/warehouse team before booking
  • Process rental bookings, ensuring accurate documentation of items, quantities, and dates
  • Clearly communicate rental terms (duration, handling, damages, return timelines, etc.)
  • Coordinate pickup, delivery, and return schedules with clients and logistics team
  • Confirm condition of items upon return and report any damages or discrepancies.

Client Experience Management (Events & Rentals):

  • Guide clients through the full journey—from inquiry to post-event/rental completion
  • Ensure clarity on timelines, deliverables, and expectations
  • Provide proactive updates and follow-ups to clients
  • Ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for both event and rental clients.

Internal Coordination:

  • Liaise with design, operations, and warehouse teams to fulfill client requests
  • Ensure all client briefs (event or rental) are properly documented and executed
  • Track all bookings and ensure alignment across teams.

Issue Resolution:

  • Handle complaints, last-minute changes, or rental-related concerns professionally
  • Resolve issues quickly or escalate when necessary
  • Manage sensitive situations such as damaged or delayed returns with tact and professionalism.

Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and rental agreements
  • Track rental schedules (outgoing and incoming items)
  • Ensure proper documentation of approvals, invoices, and confirmations.

Post-Service Engagement:

  • Follow up with clients after events or rentals to gather feedback
  • Encourage reviews, testimonials, and repeat business
  • Maintain relationships with returning rental clients (e.g., planners, decorators, brides).

Key Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 1 - 3 years experience in customer service (events, hospitality, or rental business is an advantage).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination ability
  • Attention to detail (critical for rental tracking and bookings)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or booking/inventory systems.
