We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account and Administrative Officer

Location: Ojodu-Berger, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Account / Administrative Officer is responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative activities.
  • This role combines basic accounting duties with office coordination, helping maintain accurate financial records and an efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties;

  • Record daily financial transactions (income, expenses, payments)
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and update accounting software
  • Assist with invoicing clients and tracking payments
  • Prepare and process receipts, purchase orders, and expense reports
  • Monitor petty cash and reconcile discrepancies
  • Support monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports (cash flow, income summaries)
  • Follow up on outstanding payments from clients
  • Support external auditors or accountants when required

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage office supplies and inventory (including decor items, if applicable)
  • Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital)
  • Handle correspondence (emails, calls, letters)
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars
  • Assist with staff documentation and records
  • Coordinate logistics for office and event operations
  • Support procurement and vendor communication
  • Ensure general office organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
