Job Title: Electrical Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Job Summary

• The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead electrical maintenance operations, system design, and automation within the plant
• The role ensures high- and low-voltage systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with safety regulation
• This position requires hands-on expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial automation to support optimal production performance.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor electrical engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff

System Design & Optimization:

• Oversee plant electrical systems, including control panels, motor controls, and automation systems
• Manage SCADA, PLC, and inverter programming and parameter settings.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults
• Serve as the technical expert for electrical systems and automation.

Maintenance Management:

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance systems
• Maintain proper documentation and records of critical assets to minimize downtime.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all systems and installations comply with GMP, ISO, and safety regulations

Project Management:

• Manage electrical budgets and oversee installation of new equipment
• Lead electrical-related projects from planning to execution

Requirements

• Education: B.Eng. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in electrical engineering/maintenance within manufacturing
• Certifications: COREN and NSE required
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in PLC (HMI), SCADA, and industrial automation
  • Knowledge of classical control systems
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
