Role Overview

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled and performance-driven Finance Manager to join their leadership team, as part of their continued expansion and commitment to strong financial governance.
• The Finance Manager will oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, strengthen internal control frameworks, and ensure full regulatory compliance across multiple business units.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience managing finance functions within a multi-sector operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation and production costing.
• Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Lead the budgeting, planning, and forecasting cycles, including cash flow projections and budgetary controls.
• Serve as the finance lead for the company’s ERP system, ensuring data integrity, system optimisation, and effective cross-functional utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage multi-entity financial consolidation and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification: ICAN or ACCA (fully qualified preferred; candidates in view may be considered).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial control, management accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in ERP platforms or accounting software.
• Experience in manufacturing, agribusiness, or engineering environments is a significant advantage.
