We have developed competence and generated a degree of pedigree in the provision of short / long term car hire services, driver management services and fleet management services.

Job Title: Logistics Manager

About the Role

• GKT Consults Limited is seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Logistics Manager to take full responsibility for managing our fleet operations, driver workforce, and key external service partners.
• This is a hands-on role that requires strong operational control, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver consistent results across both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate must be proactive, accountable, and capable of managing time-sensitive operations with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.
• Manage, supervise, and enforce discipline among drivers.
• Ensure strict adherence to schedules, especially for time-sensitive assignments.
• Implement and enforce standards for driver appearance, conduct, and professionalism.
• Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders including maintenance vendors, third-party logistics providers, and service partners.
• Ensure external vendors meet agreed service standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Negotiate and manage service agreements to ensure value and reliability.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues across both internal and external teams.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, vendor performance, incidents, and compliance.
• Maintain and monitor safety and security procedures of fleet.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in logistics, transport, or fleet management.
• Proven experience managing drivers, operational teams, and third-party vendors.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to hold vendors and partners accountable for results.
• High level of discipline, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive operations.
• Willingness to be available as required to ensure operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Salary
N450,000 - N600,000 monthly.
