Job Title: Product Development Specialist (Cosmetic Division)

Location: Owerri, Imo

Role Summary

• SVC4PFC is a unique project defined to offer innovative snail-based products serving in food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
• We partner with investors, research and business partners to curate innovate snail-based technologies and products for healthcare.
• We are looking for self-motivated and result-oriented professional to join a growing team developing products in cosmetics and topical medicament.

Responsibility

• Coordinate product development of products of interest, finalization of formula and release of products.
• Prepare product development objectives and schedules with external partners for all phases of product development and introduction to market.
• Manage field testing of products with partners and pursue step-wise improvement of products before market launch.
• Perform analytical and physical quality tests.
• Manage day-to-day product manufacturing with team members.

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or related.
• At least 2 years of experience in formulation.
• Ability to formulate, create/develop new products introduced to the market.
• Knowledge of FDA rules and regulation for formulation.
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with teams, present findings, and effectively share insights and product strategies.

Additional Qualification:

• Ability to carry out studies and tests using a Microscope is a distinctive advantage.
• Knowledge in amino acid, protein and GCMS test analysis.
• Knowledge in Refluxing and/or Electrophoresis is a unique advantage.
