We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales, expenses, and cash flow tracking
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Monitor revenue streams (POS sales, bookings, and other income sources) and reconcile discrepancies
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (cash, bank, and inventory)
• Support payroll processing by verifying staff records, attendance, and deductions
• Ensure proper cost control measures, especially for food, beverages, and operational expenses
• Monitor inventory valuation and collaborate with operations on stock management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Assist with audits and financial planning activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years proven accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with POS systems and accounting software
• Good understanding of cost control in food & beverage operations is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
