Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, presenting menus and taking accurate orders
- Serve food and beverages promptly and in line with service standards
- Provide detailed information about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and maintained before, during, and after service
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle requests promptly
- Process orders through POS systems and coordinate with kitchen/bar staff
- Handle basic customer complaints and escalate when necessary
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area in line with health standards
- Follow all company policies, safety, and service procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification
- 2–4 years experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or lounge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Neat appearance and professional attitude.
