We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy
• Maintain organized storage systems for food items, beverages, and operational supplies
• Issue materials to departments (kitchen, bar, housekeeping) based on approved requisitions
• Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, safety standards)
• Track expiry dates and implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
• Collaborate with the Accountant/Procurement team on cost control and stock valuation
• Prepare inventory and usage reports for management review
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and internal control policies

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in hospitality (hotel, restaurant, lounge)
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes
• Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
• A good understanding of food and beverage stock handling is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
