Job Title: Accountant

Locations: Akonwonjo, Alakuko, and Iyana Ipaja - Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support decision-making through accurate financial reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing reports, handling payroll, and ensuring the organization complies with all statutory and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records of clients, including the preparation of accounts using bank statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Process payroll and statutory deductions
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management on financial matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant accounting experience (adjust based on level)
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations is a plus
  • ICAN/ACCA qualification or in view is an advantage.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
