Job Summary

  • Our client, a reputable healthcare organization in Benin, Edo State, is seeking an experienced and qualified Pharmacist to join their team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting prescriptions, dispensing medications accurately, and providing professional pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • The successful candidate must be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and up to date with advancements in pharmaceutical practice and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compound and dispense medications accurately as prescribed by physicians.
  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and therapeutic compatibility.
  • Provide professional advice on dosage, drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication use.
  • Conduct health and wellness screenings.
  • Administer immunizations and provide basic medical services such as blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar checks.
  • Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards governing pharmaceutical practice.
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control, removal of expired/damaged drugs, and controlled substance documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Perform additional administrative and management duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience as a Pharmacist.
  • Full registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Valid and current PCN practicing license.
  • Proven track record in driving growth and expanding pharmaceutical sales business.
  • Proven experience in pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of dosage administration, pharmaceutical compounds, and drug brands.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Pharmacy Information Systems.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
