Summary
- We are seeking a creative, strategic, and performance-driven Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence of our short-let and Airbnb property portfolio.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for showcasing our properties in a compelling way, driving bookings through social media, and building a strong lifestyle-driven brand that attracts both local and international guests.
- This role is not just about posting content ; it is about turning our properties into desirable experiences and converting online visibility into occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Brand Positioning:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on increasing bookings, occupancy rates, and brand visibility.
- Position properties as premium lifestyle experiences, not just accommodation.
- Create content themes around travel, luxury stays, guest experiences, and local attractions.
Content Creation & Management;
- Create, curate, and publish high-quality content (photos, reels, videos, stories) showcasing properties.
- Work with photographers, videographers, and property managers to capture engaging visual content.
- Write compelling captions and listing descriptions that drive engagement and bookings.
- Maintain a consistent, aspirational brand aesthetic across all platforms.
Booking & Conversion Focus;
- Drive traffic from social media platforms to booking channels (Airbnb, direct booking sites, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Run campaigns to promote occupancy during low seasons and boost last-minute bookings.
- Collaborate with sales/property teams to highlight available listings in real time.
Community & Guest Engagement:
- Respond to inquiries, comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Build trust with potential guests through engaging storytelling and social proof.
- Share user-generated content, guest reviews, and testimonials.
Campaigns & Promotions:
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns (holiday deals, weekend stays, long-stay discounts).
- Collaborate with influencers, travel bloggers, and lifestyle creators to increase reach.
- Support property launches and new listing announcements.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor key metrics such as engagement rate, reach, clicks, inquiries, and booking conversions.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports with insights and growth recommendations.
- Use data to refine content strategy and improve ROI.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager (preferably in real estate, hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands).
- Strong visual storytelling and content creation skills.
- Excellent copywriting ability with a marketing-driven mindset.
- Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business.
- Strong understanding of how social media drives bookings and conversions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple property listings.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite, and analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Airbnb/short-let or hospitality marketing.
- Video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Influencer marketing experience.
- Understanding of pricing/occupancy strategies is a plus.
Salary
250,000.00 (NGN) per month.
