JB Farms is a growing palm oil processing company, headquartered in Odogbolu, Ogun state with sites in Ore, Ondo State, and Oban, Cross-River’s state committed to efficient production, quality standards, and sustainable practices.

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ore, Ondo

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to strengthen internal control systems and ensure operational efficiency across our oil palm processing operations in Ore, Ondo State.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in auditing and monitoring store, finance, and procurement functions, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and improving process integrity across the business.
• The role has a dual reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Audit Committee/Board to ensure independence and objectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of store/inventory management, including stock accuracy, usage, and reconciliation
• Review and audit procurement processes to ensure transparency, value for money, and compliance with company policies
• Audit financial records, transactions, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to mitigate risks
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Investigate discrepancies, fraud risks, and control breaches, and provide detailed reports
• Perform periodic operational audits across departments
• Prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow up on implementation
• Liaise with external auditors and support statutory audit processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience, preferably within manufacturing, agro-processing, or FMCG sectors
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement audit, and financial audit processes
• Experience in ERP systems and data analysis tools is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail

Salary
N550,000 - N750,000 Monthly
