Freee Recycle Limited is a Waste Tyre Recycling Company and Rubber floor products manufacturer in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Apata, Ibadan - Oyo

Description

• This is not a routine accounting role.
• We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who can take full ownership of financial operations, enforce controls, and deliver accurate, decision-ready reports.
• If you’re not confident managing end-to-end accounting with minimal supervision, this role isn’t for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
• Manage cash flow, payables, receivables, and working capital efficiently
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.)
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Maintain audit-ready records and liaise with auditors/regulators
• Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.

Requirements

• 5 - 8 years strong accounting experience
• ICAN / ACCA (qualified or near completion)
• Advanced skills in Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
• Manufacturing/recycling experience is a strong advantage.
