We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Worker

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Production Supervisor / Production Lead

Responsibilities
Production Support:

• Assist in paint production activities including mixing, batching, filling, sealing, and labeling
• Load and unload raw materials, containers, and finished goods as required
• Measure and prepare materials according to production instructions
• Support supervisors during production runs and special tasks

Quality & Process Control:

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly
• Observe products during production and report any abnormalities or defects
• Ensure correct packaging sizes and labeling before products leave the production area
• Maintain consistency and cleanliness in production processes

Safety & Compliance:

• Use all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times
• Handle chemicals, pigments, and tools safely
• Immediately report spills, hazards, equipment faults, or unsafe conditions
• Follow all factory safety rules and instructions.

Equipment & Housekeeping:

• Clean production tools, mixers, tanks, and work areas after use
• Assist with routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
• Keep production areas tidy and organized at all times

Teamwork & Reliability:

• Work cooperatively with other factory staff and supervisors
• Follow instructions and accept corrections positively
• Maintain punctuality, good attendance, and a strong work ethic
• Be willing to learn new tasks as production needs evolve.
