Job Title: Paint Production Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Role Summary

• We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our paint manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for the entire production lifecycle—from raw material batching to final packaging—while ensuring high output, strict quality control, and team discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Execute daily production plans for decorative and industrial paints; manage batch-making, milling, and filling processes.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure every batch meets viscosity, opacity, and color-matching standards (SON compliance).
• Resource Management: Track raw material usage to minimize waste and prevent stock-outs.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule production staff to meet tight deadlines.
• Maintenance & Safety: Oversee equipment upkeep and enforce strict factory safety (HSE) protocols.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc/HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related Engineering field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in a supervisory role specifically within paint or chemical manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of paint formulations, pigments, and lab testing equipment.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work effectively under pressure.
