Job Title: PR / Communication Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek a seasoned PR Executive to lead and manage all aspects of clients’ portfolio within the Hospitality/lifestyle department, as well as implementing PR campaigns, press releases and product placements to influence public opinion and promote products or clients to their audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and write press releases, newsletters and presentations for client’s accounts.
  • Plan client’s campaign and publicity strategies.
  • Handle client’s accounts simultaneously keeping status report on each account for effective monitoring on the company’s tasks and projects application-Coverage Book, etc.
  • Coordinate and attend client’s events to ensure full compliance to set objectives of the event.
  • Coordinate guest listing and press listing for client’s events.
  • Advise client on handling sensitive public issues to preserve brand reputation.
  • Respond to enquiries on client’s events from Organizations, press and general public.
  • Coordinate and speak at press conferences and presentations on behalf of the client.
  • Maximize client visibility through prime placement and activity on print, TV, radio and social media platforms.
  • Create maximum value on client’s account through generation of opportunities for sponsorship and business partnerships.
  • Analyze and Track media coverage of client’s account through daily monitoring of tractions on client’s activities across all media platforms and prepare reports.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Possess creative mind with the ability to find the best practical solutions
  • Very good project planning and management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of print, TV, radio and social media platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Creative Thinking and Implementation.
