We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Savings and Mobilization Officer

Location: Satellite Town, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Savings & Deposit Mobilisation:

• Recruit and onboard new savers, contributors, and investors into approved savings and investment products.
• Mobilise daily, weekly, and monthly contributions from individuals, traders, cooperatives, and SMEs.
• Educate customers on available financial products and their benefits.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat savings and referrals.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Ensure customer retention through regular follow-ups and engagement.

Field & Community Engagement:

• Conduct market visits, community outreach, and group sensitisation programs.
• Identify new savings clusters, associations, and cooperatives.
• Represent the organization at community meetings and empowerment programs

Collection & Documentation:

• Ensure all collections are properly receipted and recorded in line with company policy.
• Submit daily collection reports and documentation promptly.
• Ensure all funds are remitted to the company account without delay.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly mobilisation reports.
• Meet assigned savings mobilisation targets.
• Provide market feedback and product improvement suggestions.

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
• Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.

Experience:

• 1–3 years experience in savings mobilisation, sales, marketing, microfinance, or cooperative services.
• Experience in grassroots or market-based financial services is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Basic knowledge of savings, investment, and financial products.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Good record-keeping and basic digital literacy.

Personal Attributes:

• Self-motivated and result-oriented.
• Presentable and professional.
• Familiar with local markets and communities.
• Willingness to work in the field.

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 monthly + Commission based on Financial Targets.
