Since founded, we continuously expand global network, develop and optimize products, improve customer experience, and introduce IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations.

Currently, we are building an intra-Africa and China-Africa service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and Africa. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and Africa while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Description

  • The Region Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple logistics sites, managing the sites through his subordinates, site managers, and ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of logistics activities.
  • This role involves strategic planning, team management, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, developing the site pickup business.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple logistics sites to ensure smooth and efficient processes, including parcel pickup, movement, and final delivery, and parcel return if undelivered.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and support site managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Resolve any operational issues that site managers escalate.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for multiple sites, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement measures to control costs and improve profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports and data to inform strategic decisions.

Client and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Develop the site pickup business.

  • Assist the site to try every chance to find more business for pickup;
  • Support the sites to solve the challenge to facilitate getting more business;

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across all sites.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to keep the organization competitive.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all sites comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or any related field.
  • An MSc/MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in the logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce industry, with a strong understanding of last-mile delivery operations.
  • At least 2–3 years’ proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, overseeing multiple teams and/or locations.
  • Demonstrated experience in franchise or hub management, including partner/vendor coordination and performance monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management, route planning, fleet coordination, and delivery optimization.
  • Experience managing KPIs and SLAs, with the ability to drive performance improvements across regions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel; familiarity with logistics or ERP systems is an added advantage).
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both internal teams and external partners.
  • High level of problem-solving ability and decision-making under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions.
  • Knowledge of local geography and logistics networks within Nigeria is a strong advantage.
