Job Title: Sales Representative

Locations: Aba - Abia, Anambra, Asaba, Warri - Delta, Enugu, Owerri - Imo, Akwa Ibom - Uyo 

Job Summary

  • We are seeking highly driven, and disciplined Sales Representatives with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out, engage customer prospects and support field operations.
  • This role requires individuals who can deliver outstanding sales performance, maintain excellent distributor relationships, and uphold world-class in-market execution standards within assigned territories.
  • As a Sales Representative, you will serve as a key ambassador for the business while ensuring consistent territory coverage, customer engagement, order generation, and compliance with operational policies.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for all brands across assigned territories.
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new retail outlets, wholesalers, and high-potential customers to expand market coverage.

Market Execution Excellence:
Ensure full compliance with in-market execution standards including:

  • Product availability
  • Visibility and display compliance
  • Price adherence
  • Promo/activation execution
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide timely intelligence for strategic planning.

Distributor & Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Key Distributors (KDs) to support operational efficiency.
  • Resolve field-related escalations promptly to ensure smooth business transactions.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Accurately record all orders through approved sales platforms
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales achievements, market trends, and operational challenges.
  • Document market insights, customer feedback, and price-monitoring data for management review.

Operational Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to the company’s zero-debt policy, guaranteeing that all transactions are completed without outstanding payments.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of sales and cash to maintain transparency and prevent financial discrepancies.
  • Uphold brand standards and maintain professional conduct while interacting with customers and market stakeholders.

  • Zero Debt Compliance (No outstanding payments)
  • Market Execution: 95%+ compliance with visibility, availability, and pricing standards

Requirements

  • OND / HND / BSc in any discipline (FMCG experience is an added advantage).
  • 1–3 years experience in sales, merchandising, field operations, or route-to-market roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Excellent knowledge of market terrain in assigned locations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • High level of discipline, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Technology-inclined with the ability to use mobile sales applications for order capture and reporting.
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
