Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Role Overview
- We are seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel growth for our consumer goods brands in Lagos.
- You’ll generate and qualify leads, initiate conversations with retailers/distributors/buyers, and book sales meetings for our Account Managers.
- This role is ideal for someone who knows how to sell fast-moving consumer products and can open doors quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and contact potential B2B/B2C buyers via calls, WhatsApp, email, and store visits
- Generate qualified leads for fabrics, beauty/skincare, home appliances, and kitchenware product lines
- Pitch product benefits, pricing, and promotions to distributors, wholesalers, supermarkets, salons, and online vendors
- Book product demos/sampling sessions and hand off qualified opportunities to closers
- Hit monthly KPIs for outbound touches, qualified leads, and meetings booked
- Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM/spreadsheet and report weekly on activity
- Gather market feedback on pricing, competitor moves, and customer objections.
Ideal Candidate
- HND / BSc preferred but not required if experience is solid
- Must have proven experience selling at least two of the following: Fabrics/textiles, Beauty/Skincare, Home Appliances, Kitchenware
- 1 - 3 years in field sales, B2B sales, retail distribution, or telesales for FMCG/consumer products
- Strong network with Lagos-based traders, stores, salons, markets like Balogun, Yaba, Ikeja, Trade Fair
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills; comfortable with daily targets and rejection
- Smart, presentable, and able to move around Lagos for client visits
- Basic WhatsApp/Excel skills for reporting.
Salary
N300,000 – N500,000 monthly + Commission & Performance Bonuses.
