Job Title: Graphics Designer

Job Summary
- The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that aligns with Women Radio 91.7’s brand identity and enhances its communication across traditional and digital platforms.
- The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs that support programming, marketing, and social impact campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative designs for on-air and off-air campaigns, including show logos, event posters, banners, flyers, and digital content.
- Design social media graphics, infographics, motion graphics, and other visuals to enhance online engagement.
- Collaborate with the programmes and project team to produce visuals that complement storytelling and broadcast themes.
- Maintain and update the station’s brand assets, ensuring consistency in colour, typography, and visual identity.
- Create layouts and design concepts for presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
- Edit photos and videos for social media and marketing use.
- Support the marketing and communications team in creating visuals for advertising, sponsorship decks, and community campaigns.
- Manage multiple design projects and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a graphics designer, preferably in media, advertising, or communications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Canva.
- Basic video editing and motion graphics skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of social media trends and digital content design best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure.
