Job Title: HVAC Technician

Brief Description
- The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- This role ensures optimal system functionality to support a comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environment for clients.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems, components, and related equipment (ducts, thermostats, controls, etc.).
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of systems after installation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshooting system malfunctions, electrical and mechanical faults.
- Replace or repair defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
- Ensure systems comply with energy efficiency and environmental standards.
- Explain technical issues and solutions to clients in clear, understandable terms.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with HVAC codes, standards, and company policies.
- Report daily activities, issues, and completed work to the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- HND certificate in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairs.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Strong adherence to safety and compliance procedures.
- Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, at heights, or under varying weather conditions.
- Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
