Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with strong inventory management experience to join our healthcare/aesthetic facility.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, cost control, and accurate inventory tracking to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations in line with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Monitor and control inventory accounting, including stock valuation, tracking, and reconciliation with physical inventory.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to prevent loss, wastage, or discrepancies.
- Track cost of medical supplies, aesthetic products, and equipment, ensuring proper cost allocation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights on operational and inventory costs.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and work closely with operations/procurement teams to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and healthcare industry requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with audits.
- Utilize accounting software and systems to maintain data accuracy and generate reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4years experience in accounting, preferably within healthcare or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and stock management processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA part-qualified or in view) is an advantage.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
