Viramsun Nigeria Limited, a trading company that deals in the importation of goods, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Electrician
Locations: Ijesha - Lagos and Ota - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults in machinery and equipment
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
- Ensure minimal downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns
- Maintain electrical panels, wiring, and control systems
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certification in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Proven experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment (plastic industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to handle both breakdown and preventive maintenance effectively
- Good understanding of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Key Competencies:
- Should be capable enough of troubleshooting’s and repairs of Injection molding machinery & stretch blow m/c .
- Must be a team player, should support and work in coordination with the team .
- Technical proficiency in industrial electrical systems
- High sense of responsibility and reliability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Must have working knowledge to manage breakdowns across equipment’s Like Hopper loaders , Cooling towers , Generators , Transformer, electrical panels , chillers , hot runner controller , grinders , mixers , etc.
