Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Head of School to support the Head of School in leading the Primary school and maintaining high academic, behavioural, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise teaching staff and ensure delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor lesson plans, classroom activities, and adherence to academic standards.
- Support teacher development, performance reviews, and staff orientation.
- Assist in overseeing school administration, facilities, and daily operations.
- Promote student discipline, well-being, and a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate tests, examinations, and academic reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and participate in PTA activities.
- Prepare periodic reports for the Head of School.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree an advantage).
- 7–10 years of teaching experience, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to high educational standards and student development.
- Must stay in the Abijo, Awoyaya, Epe, Ajah vicinity.
