We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control& Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Mowe, Ogun 
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description
Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Prepare and review Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain proper quality documentation and records.

Quality Control (QC):

• Carry out site inspections and material checks at all stages of construction.
• Ensure works (earthworks, concrete, asphalt, drainage, etc.) meet required standards.
• Monitor field tests (e.g., compaction, slump test, cube test, asphalt density).
• Witness and verify laboratory and on-site testing.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
• Approve or reject materials based on quality standards.

Site Coordination & Reporting:

• Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted as per ITP hold/witness points.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and maintain inspection logs.
• Coordinate with laboratory technicians and survey teams for testing and verification.
• Ensure proper handover documentation and as-built quality records.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure adherence to applicable standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, AASHTO or local standards).
• Enforce compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements during inspections.
• Support audits by clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
