We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors)
- Assess patients’ conditions and respond promptly to changes in vital signs
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and life-support treatments as prescribed
- Assist physicians during procedures and emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for critically ill patients
- Ensure strict infection prevention and control practices
- Support and educate patients’ families regarding patient condition and care plans
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical decision-making
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc)
- Post-basic ICU/critical care nursing certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, preferably in ICU or emergency care.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
