Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial strategy. The role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to support business growth through effective financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and financial risk assessment
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
• Supervise accounting operations, audits, and financial controls
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) required
• 8–12 years’ experience in finance, preferably within the power/energy sector
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP tools

Salary
N1,000,000 - N2,000,000 / Month.
