Job summary
- We are seeking passionate and highly competent Teachers for Primary and Transition Classes who can deliver outstanding classroom instruction while fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
- Successful candidates must demonstrate an ownership mindset, taking full responsibility for learning outcomes, behavior, and developmental progress of every child under their care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Provide ownership-driven classroom leadership and student support.
- Monitor and track pupil academic progress consistently.
- Identify learning gaps and implement intervention strategies promptly.
- Ensure diligent follow-through on each pupil’s academic and developmental needs.
- Use visual aids and modern teaching tools to improve lesson delivery.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to improve learning outcomes.
Requirements
- B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE, or equivalent qualification.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputable school is preferred.
- Strong mastery of foundational subjects for Primary teachers.
- Strong mastery in specialized subject areas for core subject teachers.
Required Competencies:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Clear pronunciation and professional accent.
- Strong emotional intelligence and child sensitivity.
- Use of visual teaching aids and interactive learning methods.
- Strong computer literacy and digital teaching competence.
