Job Title: Secretary (Fashion)

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

  • The ideal candidate is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and customer support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clothing store.
  • This role combines inventory coordination, customer service, and digital engagement (social media management), with a strong emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support:

  • Attend to walk-in customers professionally, providing product information and purchase assistance.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
  • Ensure prompt response to customer messages and requests.
  • Escalate complex issues or complaints to management when necessary.

⁠Social Media Management:

  • Manage and monitor the store’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Facebook).
  • Respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Post product updates, promotions, and relevant content as directed.
  • Maintain consistency in brand tone and customer engagement.

Inventory & Stock Coordination:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods (purchases, deliveries, and sales).
  • Track stock levels and update inventory logs daily.
  • Verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
  • •upport periodic stock counts and audits.

Daily Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit end-of-day reports covering:
  • Sales activities.
  • Customer interactionsand feedback.
  • Inventory movements (stock in/out).
  • Social media engagement and inquiries.
  • Maintain proper filing (digital and/or physical) of receipts, invoices, and store records.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with general store coordination and organization.
  • Ensure the store environment (front desk and admin area) remains orderly.
  • Support the manager/owner with assigned administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 1–3 years experience in a similar administrative or retail role (fashion retail preferred).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with social media management (especially Instagram and WhatsApp Business).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Responsiveness and time management.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Initiative and reliability.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
