Job Summary
- The ideal candidate is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and customer support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clothing store.
- This role combines inventory coordination, customer service, and digital engagement (social media management), with a strong emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support:
- Attend to walk-in customers professionally, providing product information and purchase assistance.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Ensure prompt response to customer messages and requests.
- Escalate complex issues or complaints to management when necessary.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and monitor the store’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Facebook).
- Respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Post product updates, promotions, and relevant content as directed.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone and customer engagement.
Inventory & Stock Coordination:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods (purchases, deliveries, and sales).
- Track stock levels and update inventory logs daily.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
- •upport periodic stock counts and audits.
Daily Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit end-of-day reports covering:
- Sales activities.
- Customer interactionsand feedback.
- Inventory movements (stock in/out).
- Social media engagement and inquiries.
- Maintain proper filing (digital and/or physical) of receipts, invoices, and store records.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general store coordination and organization.
- Ensure the store environment (front desk and admin area) remains orderly.
- Support the manager/owner with assigned administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in a similar administrative or retail role (fashion retail preferred).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with social media management (especially Instagram and WhatsApp Business).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Responsiveness and time management.
- Customer-centric mindset.
- Initiative and reliability.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Salary
N150,000 per month.
