Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and building long-term relationships.
  • The role involves developing and executing strategies that increase market presence, generate leads, and convert prospects into loyal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and market research.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the company’s customer base and market share.
  • Present and promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, track leads, and provide regular performance forecasts and reports.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to ensure alignment and effective delivery of solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and close deals.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and standard business software.

Salary
N70,000 - N150,000 per month.
