Job Description
- As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in our financial management and decision-making processes.
- As a Financial Analyst at Madison & Park, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting key financial decisions.
- You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health of the organization and contribute to its overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budget variances.
- Create and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in financial metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular reports to department heads.
- Work with department managers to understand and manage their budgets effectively.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and assess financial performance.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Cost Analysis:
- Analyze project costs and profitability to optimize resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost control.
Client Billing and Revenue Recognition:
- Ensure accurate and timely client billing based on project milestones and deliverables.
- Assist in revenue recognition processes in compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting with at least 2 year of experience in accounting role
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a marketing advertising or procurement setting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
