Job Title: Equity Trader

Job Summary
- As the Equity Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades across equities and fixed income instruments, optimizing portfolio performance, and managing trading risks in line with investment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Execute trades across equities, bonds, and other financial instruments with accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support trading and investment decisions
- Manage order flow and ensure best execution in line with portfolio mandates
- Collaborate with research and portfolio management teams to align trading strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in trading within asset management or financial institutions
- Strong knowledge of equities, bonds, and capital markets (NGX, FMDQ, etc.)
- Professional certification such as CIS, CFA, or SEC License is an advantage
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.
Salary
N1,000,000 – N1,500,000 Monthly
