Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Accountant with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Monitor financial transactions and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in oil & gas or construction industry
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
