Job Title: Primary School Head Teacher

Location: Oke Ota - Owode, Ikorodu, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Primary School Head Teacher to lead the academic and administrative operations of our school.
• The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, ensure high educational standards, and foster a positive learning environment for both staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff
• Ensure compliance with educational policies and standards
• Monitor and improve students’ academic performance and discipline
• Manage school operations, including timetabling and resource allocation
• Foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community
• Organize staff training, development, and performance evaluations
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong leadership and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methods
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and organizational ability.
