Job Title: Air Conditioning (AC) Technician

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our maintenance team in a steel manufacturing plant in Ikorodu, Lagos.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and ventilation equipment to ensure optimal performance across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems within the plant facility.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs on AC units, chillers, compressors, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • onitor system performance and ensure proper temperature control in offices, control rooms, and other designated areas.
  • Inspect electrical components such as wiring, motors, and thermostats connected to AC systems.
  • Replace defective components including filters, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
