Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our maintenance team in a steel manufacturing plant in Ikorodu, Lagos.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and ventilation equipment to ensure optimal performance across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems within the plant facility.
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs on AC units, chillers, compressors, and related equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- onitor system performance and ensure proper temperature control in offices, control rooms, and other designated areas.
- Inspect electrical components such as wiring, motors, and thermostats connected to AC systems.
- Replace defective components including filters, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
- 2–4 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
