Location: Ikota, Lagos

Job Summary
- The HR / Business Development Managerwill play a dual role in supporting the growth of the company by managing core HR operations while actively contributing to business development initiatives.
- The role requires a highly proactive individual capable of building internal HR structures, supporting team performance, and driving revenue through strategic partnerships and client engagement within the real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Functions:
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Implement HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and internal compliance processes.
- Monitor staff attendance, leave management, and employee welfare matters.
- Support performance management processes including staff evaluations and documentation.
- Assist with payroll preparation and maintain updated HR records.
- Facilitate internal communication between management and staff.
- Support the development of HR systems suitable for a growing startup environment.
Business Development Functions:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive property sales and investment partnerships.
- Generate qualified leads for property sales through networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
- Represent the company at networking events, business meetings, and promotional activities.
- Support marketing initiatives and property presentations aimed at attracting new clients.
- Track sales opportunities, partnerships, and follow-up activities.
- Work closely with the sales team to support deal closure and client retention.
Performance Metrics
- Successful recruitment and onboarding of employees.
- Compliance with HR policies and proper documentation.
- Number of new business leads generated.
- Partnerships secured and contribution to property sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years relevant experience in HR, sales, or business development.
- Experience in the real estate sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
