Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and optimizing financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial planning and business decisions.
- Process tax payments and ensure timely remittance.
- Maintain vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding payables
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- 3-5 years post NYSC experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Membership of Accounting Professional bodies like ICAN, ACCA is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting practices.
