Job Title: Senior Head of Security

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• The Senior Head of Security will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and direction for all security operations across the organization.
• The role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in corporate security, risk management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Oversee all security operations, including physical security, personnel, and asset protection
• Conduct risk assessments and design mitigation plans across multiple business units
• Lead incident response, investigations, and crisis management initiatives
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and relevant regulatory bodies
• Manage and mentor security teams to ensure high performance and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with local and international security standards
• Provide regular security reports and advisory to executive management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• 12–15 years’ experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of security systems, intelligence gathering, and risk assessment
• Experience working within a multinational or large corporate environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are an added advantage.
