We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Clerk

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

• Track food and supply stock levels
• Record deliveries and check items against purchase orders
• Notify management of low stock or shortages.

Receiving & Storage:

• Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy
• Label and store ingredients properly (FIFO method)
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene).

Record Keeping:

• Maintain logs for inventory, waste, and deliveries
• Update stock sheets or digital systems
• Assist with cost control documentation.

Kitchen Support:

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks (e.g., washing, peeling, portioning)
• Ensure kitchen tools and equipment are clean and organized
• Help maintain cleanliness in storage areas.

Compliance & Hygiene:

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure proper handling of food and supplies
• Support kitchen cleanliness and organization.
