Job Title: HSE / Facility Officer

Location: Lagos

The Role

• We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to drive safety compliance and manage our NAFDAC regulatory processes.
• This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for HSE systems and regulatory documentation across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and environmental practices
• Deliver HSE trainings, inductions, and toolbox talks
• Manage NAFDAC applications, renewals, and regulatory documentation
• Maintain accurate HSE and compliance records
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Oversee general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility, monitor utilities, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, ensure preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
• 3 - 5 years' HSE experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Direct, hands-on NAFDAC experience — applications, renewals, documentation (mandatory)
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of HSE systems and chemical safety

Added Advantage: 

• Experience supporting regulatory audits
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or related standards
• Strong documentation and report writing skills.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
