Job Title: Driver

Location: Efab Global Estate, Mbora, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Employer: Land Designs Ltd. (Assigned to a private residence)
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (with flexibility for weekend assignments as needed)

Role Scope

• The Private Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for the employer and household members.
• The role requires professionalism, discretion, punctuality, and a strong knowledge of Abuja road networks.
• The driver will also support basic vehicle maintenance and ensure the vehicle is always in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties:

• Safely drive the employer and/or family members to work, appointments, social events, and other destinations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to daily schedules.
• Be available for extended hours and occasional weekend assignments when required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Care:

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel level, oil, brakes, tires, etc.).
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times (interior and exterior).
• Schedule routine servicing and promptly report any faults or repairs needed.

Route Planning & Efficiency:

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions within Abuja.
• Stay updated on road conditions, closures, and alternative routes.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and driving regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and relevant documentation at all times.
• Ensure passenger safety and comfort during all trips.

Professional Conduct:

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters.
• Exhibit courteous, respectful, and professional behavior at all times.
• Dress appropriately and maintain good personal hygiene.

Errands & Support:

• Run official and household errands as assigned (e.g., deliveries, pickups, shopping).
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of SSCE.
• Proven 1–2 years of experience as a professional or private driver.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of Abuja roads and traffic patterns.
• Punctual, trustworthy, and reliable.
• Flexible and willing to work beyond standard hours when required.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
