Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• The accountant will handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financialrecords, proper reconciliations, and compliance with financial standards.
• The role supportsthe finance team in reporting, auditing, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• ICAN / ACCA is an added advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and detail‑oriented skills.
• * Good communication and teamwork abilities.
